July 2018 Texas Honors Institute

Our chapter officers recently returned from the PTK Texas Honors Institute in Dallas, TX. In addition to learning more about the current Honors in Action project themes, we got the opportunity to meet some wonderful chapters, hear many different perspectives on everyday issues, and attend some awesome seminars featuring incredible speakers. Scholarships were awarded, door prizes were distributed, dance moves were showcased―and best of all―ice cream was eaten.

Appearance on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon

One of our 17/18 officers, Katherine Vasquez, had the opportunity to appear on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon after a video of her and a group of singers singing at a shelter went viral. You can spot Katherine on the very right in the front row!
