Attend a Meeting
General member meetings dates and times for the Fall semester are TBD. Join us for chapter updates and special topics, as well as a chance to meet like minded student scholars on campus.
Become an Officer
Serving as a chapter officer offers Phi Theta Kappa members to achieve enhanced membership while taking advantage of various personal and professional development opportunities. Chapter officers participate in all four Phi Theta Kappa hallmarks:
- Service by participating in a service project designed to support the college community through the college project
- Scholarship by exploring the Phi Theta Kappa honors topic through the Honors Project
- Leadership by guiding the chapter through the five-star plan and through the completion of the Competitive Edge Program, Phi Theta Kappa's self-paced leadership development program.
- Fellowship by facilitating a community of like-minded scholars committed to excellence both on campus, regionally, and internationally.

Contribute to a Project
You don't have to be an officer to get involved with our chapter projects. All LSC-Montgomery students are invited to participate in the Honors in Action project, which is research oriented, and the College Project, which is service oriented. Learn more about our projects and how you can get involved.
Volunteer for Chapter Events
We're always looking for an extra set of hands, so if you're interested in getting involved in Beta Delta Iota's Phi Theta Kappa awareness events or service opportunities, stop by a general meeting or contact us to see what events we are currently planning and how you can contribute to the success of the chapter.
Enhanced Membership
Active members can achieve enhanced membership status by participating in various chapter activities and contributing to the overall success of the chapter. Enhanced members can qualify to attend conferences and events with the chapter, as well as a letter of recommendation from Lone Star College-Montgomery President, Dr. Riley. Attend a general meeting or contact us to find out more achieving an enhanced membership status.
Provisional Membership
Students who have not yet met the eligibility requirements to receive an invitation to join Phi Theta Kappa are welcome to participate in chapter activities as a provisional member. While we welcome provisional member participation, provisional members cannot serve as officers or achieve enhanced membership status.
